Building Loading – Wind Exposure

From ASCE 7-10 and ASCE 7-16:  The Exposure Category is determined by the surrounding Surface Roughness Categories.

„  Notes:

For 2020/2017 FL-HVHZ, all buildings shall be considered as Exposure Category C, unless Exposure Category D applies.

 

Wind Exposure “D” Selection Guidelines

Use these guidelines to help determine if your project requires Wind Exposure D.  When unsure, request assistance from Engineering Services.
