Snow Exposure
1: Windy area with roof exposed on all sides
with no shelter afforded by terrain, higher structures, or trees.
Snow Exposure 2: Windy area with little shelter
available.
Snow Exposure
3: Locations in which snow removal by wind
cannot be relied on to reduce snow loads because of terrain, higher structures,
or several trees nearby.
Snow Exposure 4: Areas that do not experience
much wind and where terrain, higher structures, or several trees shelter the
roof.
Snow Exposure
5: Densely forested areas that experience little
wind, with roof located tight among conifers.
