I am a Technical Training
Coordinator for VP Buildings. I joined VP in 1986 and have worked in
Engineering Services, Research & Development, Systems, Software Support,
and VP University. Originally I worked in Wisconsin's Services Department and
transferred to Memphis in 1989.
Prior to working for VP, I started
working in this industry as a Draftsman and Checker at Dean Steel Building (Ft.
Myers, FL) from 1981 - 1984, then in 1984 I worked at Sonoco Steel Building
(Waukesha, WI) and from 1984 - 1986 at Inryco Steel
Building (Milwaukee, WI).
I joined the VP University staff
in 2001. Some of my responsibilities include maintaining the Detailing
Intranet, training of Services Detailers for VP Command and new product
releases, also some beta testing of engineering software and product revisions.
In 2003, I was volunteered to be a Green Belt in the Six Sigma quality
initiative program.
My wife Virginia is an X-ray
tech. I have 2 sons: Poul who enjoys reading and
playing soccer. John
enjoys roller hockey and soccer.
