Ed Champagne is a consultant for Learning and Development. He is the founder of VP University for VP Buildings, an International Pre-Engineering company with headquarters in Memphis TN. Ed retired from VP in 2005. Prior to that he was with International Paper Company and held positions as Public Relations Director, Human Resources Manager, Corporate Quality Manager , Director of Corporate Education, and Internal Business Consultant. Ed also spent time in education as Dean of Admissions for the University of Maine and has taught at several institutions, including the US Naval Academy. For the past fifteen years, he has also had his own consulting firm and worked with several Fortune 500 firms as well as smaller entrepreneurial start ups. Ed spent six years on active duty in the Navy and retired from the Reserve with the rank of Commander. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Education and Social Sciences, a Master’s degree in counseling & Psychology, a General Electric Fellowship in Group Dynamics and a Ph.D. in Business and Ethics. Ed is married, has three children and lives in Collierville, Tennessee. |
